Qualifications

I am an Association for the Advancement of Meridian Energy Techniques (AAMET) Certified and Approved Level 2 EFT Practitioner. A UK Reiki Federation Listed 2nd Degree Practitioner. I have a IKC Touch For Health Kinesiology Proficiency Certificate. ITEC Anatomy & Physiology Level 3 Diploma. Certificate in Nutrition. COSCA Certificate in Counselling. Diploma in Thai Hand and Foot Massage and Thai Seated Massage. Certificate in Indian Head Massage and a Level 1 Bach Flower Remedies Certificate.

In addition to my therapy qualifications I also have a BA Degree in Community Education and a variety of NHS Health & Relationships and other training certificates.

Skills

I have extensive experience working creatively in a person-centred way to support the informal education of individuals and different groups, from young people, to women who have experienced domestic abuse, to people who have used mental health services.

I have always been professionally and personally interested in health and complementary therapies. I studied a Community Health Course at Edinburgh University and have worked as a Community Education Practitioner in a variety of health related projects.

Background Information

I have been practising holistic therapies since 2008 and work in a holistic way, to treat the whole person, body, mind, emotions and spirit. I value and treat everyone as an individual, respecting a persons right to make their own life choices and I do not judge people.

It is my belief that complementary therapies should be available for free on the NHS. Their benefits to a healthier lifestyle should be accessible to everyone regardless of socio-economic circumstances. That is why I provide therapies that are affordable for everyone and try to offer a discount to anyone on a low income.
